The constitutionality of federal health care reform legislation, known as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court on June 28, 2012, with the exception of the provision expanding eligibility for Medicaid. Title 1 of the ACA, the employment-related section, was not addressed by the decision. Florida, et al. v.
